Who are we

Hi
I’m Jace
My friend A. and I are both struggling with mental health issues and that makes it hard to keep in touch, but we also support each other and help each other at lot.
So this blog is meant to be a place where we can write letters to each other and keep in touch.
I’m starting out alone, since A. isn’t quite up for it yet. But I need to write and I know it’ll help me get better. So for now I’ll post a letter every friday and the plan is that when A. is ready she’ll join me.

Thank you for reading.

I’m Jace. Here’s what I’d like you to know about me.

– I’m aromantic and asexual. I am questioning my gender and feel that the word agender or genderless describes me, but am not out about that irl, and still use she/her pronouns.
– I’m autistic, have depression, anxiety and PTSD. My autism (specifically aspergers or ASD) was diagnosed late, but I have struggled my whole life and am just so happy and relieved to finally have the right words to talk about why.
– I love books and spoken word poetry. Quotes are very helpful to me. And I am sure I’ll use quotes a lot in my letters.

I might add something to this later.
